North American Rescue M-FAK

One of the most overlooked areas of training in Law Enforcement and the firearms industry is medical training. Though medical training is not as exciting as firearms training, the chances of you using a tourniquet far surpass the chances of you using your firearm. With that said, if you do use your firearm, you might also need a tourniquet. As Police Officers, the RTG Instructors see major injuries on a daily basis. When working in remote areas, experienced and trained medical professionals could be over an hour away. This is why we feel it is crucial to have a basic understanding of first aid and to carry the gear necessary to save a life. 

Just like the firearms industry, there are billions of options to choose from when it comes to selecting the right IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit). For most of our customers, we recommend the North American Rescue M-FAK. This kit is compact and comes in three different tiers; Basic Kit, Combat Gauze Kit, and Advanced Kit. The basic kit has everything you need to stop bleeding while the Combat Gauze Kit comes with a Hemostatic Bandage. The advanced kit comes with a decompression needle that requires some advanced training to use.
