  • Combined Weapons Readiness ($310)

    Combined Weapons Readiness focuses on the balance of engaging targets with both a rifle and handgun. This class uncovers the advantages and disadvantages of each weapon and focuses on maximizing the capability of both. In this course, students will learn rifle sling manipulation, transitions from rifle to handgun, and gain the ability to identify when to transition from rifle to pistol or pistol to rifle. Once these skills have been established, students will test themselves on benchmark drills and push the limits by shooting on the move and against the clock.

    Requirements:

    Level II Rifle and Level II Pistol or an Equivalent Class / Experience

    Pistol and Three (3) Pistol Magazines

    Rifle with Sling and Three (3) Rifle Magazines

    Belt with Holster and Magazine Pouches (Plate Carrier/ Vest Optional)

    400 Rounds of Rifle Ammunition

    200 Rounds of Pistol Ammunition

    Eye and ear protection

    SERPA Holsters are prohibited

  • Low Light Combined Weapons Readiness and Intro to Night Vision($310)

    LLCWR uncovers the advantages and disadvantages of each weapon and focuses on maximizing the capability of both in low/no light environments. Learn new techniques or fine tune existing skills employing a handheld or weapon mounted light while maintaining the fundamentals of marksmanship.

    This class will also include an introduction to night vision. Students will learn the basics of night vision and have the opportunity to utilize NVGs during the class. If you do not have a NVG set up, it can provided by Dark Sky Optics.

  • Building Search for Patrol ($310)

    This course focuses on fundamentals for searching a structure for occupants as a Patrol Officer with limited manpower. Students will learn through practical application how to safely and effectively move through a structure to render a structure safe, apprehend offender(s), and/or rescue victims. Topics covered include small team search techniques, flashlight/weapon light manipulation, planning and tactical considerations.

    NO LIVE AMMO NEEDED. Portions of this class are force on force.

    This class is for Active Law Enforcement only.

  • Breaching for Patrol ($310)

    This course will provide a fundamental level of knowledge and skill in using manual breaching methods to successfully force entry for response to critical incidents as well as other “patrol” type functions. Topics to be covered will be case law, tool selection, door construction analysis, one and two person manual breaching methods, tactical considerations and deployment. Students are encouraged to bring their issued tools to class for use during training, but tools will be provided for use.
