  • Safety Class ($250)

    Shooting a firearm for the first time can be intimidating and without proper instruction, very dangerous. Our safety class will guide you through the process of taking your first shots with your new purchase. The student will learn safe weapon handling, loading and unloading, disassembly and cleaning of their weapon, as well as proper shooting techniques. (4 hours)

    Requirements

    Pistol or rifle with at least 1 magazine

    50 Rounds of Ammunition

    Eye and ear protection (can be provided by RTG if you do not have your own.)

  • Level I Pistol ($310)

    Level I Pistol is a full day class designed to make pistol owners proficient with the safe handling and operation of their pistol. This class will focus on the fundamentals of marksmanship and addressing malfunctions. Offered in both group settings or one on one instruction.

  • Level II Pistol ($310)

    Level II Pistol is designed to bring students to the next level. Students will be shown techniques to balance speed and accuracy and improve how fast they can present a weapon and put accurate rounds on target. This course will also cover skills needed to be successful when shooting on the move, reloading and quickly getting the gun back into operation after failure to fire and other malfunctions.

    Belt with holster and magazine pouches

    300 Rounds of Ammunition

  • Conceal Carry Readiness

    Concealed Carry Readiness ($310)

    Concealed Carry Readiness focuses on the practical application of carrying a firearm. This class also focuses on safe weapons handling and techniques for carrying a handgun concealed.

    In CCR, students will learn about Use of Force; this includes what the permit process requires the applicant to know and how it applies to the real world. Students will have the opportunity to shoot the handgun qualification course that will be required in order to receive a NJ Concealed Carry Permit.

    Throughout the day, students will receive instruction on marksmanship, holster selection, belt selection, medical equipment, weapon retention, proper attire, and more.

    The mission of this class is to prepare students to safely and effectively carry a weapon.

    This class will not be to obtain a certification, but to prepare the student for certification testing for a Concealed Carry Permit.

  • Law Enforcement Pistol Readiness ($310) L.E. Only

    LE Pistol Readiness will focus on the skills required for effective deployment in LE situations and semi-annual qualifications. As in all RTG courses, there will be a focus on the fundamentals of marksmanship, building confidence in the student, and improving their ability to shoot accurately on demand. Specific learning objectives for this course are; fundamentals of pistol marksmanship, weapon manipulation, strong and off hand only shooting, and shooting from cover.

    You must be an active Law Enforcement Officer

    Three (3) pistol magazines

    Belt with duty holster and magazine pouches

    300 Rounds of Ammunition

  • Law Enforcement Low Light Pistol ($310) L.E. Only

    Learn new techniques or fine tune existing skills employing a handheld or weapon mounted light in a low/no light environment while maintaining the fundamentals of marksmanship.

    Students will participate in a discussion on low light equipment and practical employment during engagements and then apply those techniques in live fire drills; to include reloads, malfunctions, one handed shooting, manipulating both handheld/weapon light, and proper use of light behind/around cover.

    Requirements

    You must be an active Law Enforcement Officer

    Know and understand the cardinal rules of firearm safety

    Duty pistol

    Weapon mounted flashlight (if allowed)

    Handheld flashlight (bring back up..2 is 1)

    Spare batteries for each light source

    Three (3) pistol magazines

    Belt with duty holster and magazine pouches

    300 Rounds of Ammunition

    Eye and ear protection
