I have tried to EDC a flashlight many times however the cylindrical shape of flashlights usually causes discomfort when sitting down. For any EDC equipment, if its not comfortable, you wont carry it. I stumbled across the wedge during training and fell in love with its squared off design. Its flat edges means that it carries more like a pocket knife than a flashlight. The biggest selling point by far for me is the USB-C charging port. As an Andriod phone user (which I catch a lot of hate for) I have hundreds of USB-C chargers laying around the house. It is very easy for me to keep the light charged so that it is there when I need it.
