The 2026 SRO Workshop is a FREE training class for school resource officers, school security officers as well as patrol officers, focusing on essential skills for emergency response. Participants will learn manual breaching techniques to gain entry in critical situations, enhancing their ability to respond effectively during an incident. The course will also cover firearms marksmanship, ensuring officers are proficient and confident in their use of firearms. Additionally, a segment dedicated to medical care under fire will equip officers with the knowledge and skills to provide immediate medical assistance while maintaining situational awareness. This comprehensive training aims to bolster the preparedness and effectiveness of school resource officers in safeguarding school environments. The format for this training is executed through practical application so students will get true hands-on instruction from the RTG Instructor Cadre whose real-world training and experience will be shared with students to enhance their capabilities. This training is funded by local area businesses and private citizen donations to assist officers in getting life-saving training to protect our children if and when the time arises.
